Education & Support Program Manager

FARE’s Education and Community Engagement department develops and maintains a variety of programs, content, resources, and partnerships to improve the quality of life for all individuals and families facing food allergy, with a focus on advancing health for everyone. An important part of this work is actively engaging and managing volunteers to support community-based initiatives. The Education & Support Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of:

  1. FARE’s Recognized Support Groups
  2. Community Outreach Awards and stipends
  3. Teen Advisory Group, including our monthly Teen Talks and Child Chats series
  4. Food Allergy Collaborative
  5. CDC-funded Food Allergy AWARE project
  6. AAP-funded Food Allergy Management in Schools
  7. FARE education scholarships and grants
  8. Monthly Webinars Program
  9. FARE Education Inbox
  10. Administrative support on external Advisory Councils

The Program Manager will work closely with FARE’s Medical Director of CDC- and AAP-funded projects and will also work across the Education and Community Engagement team to support administrative tasks such as creating meeting agenda, meeting minutes, and meeting presentations on various projects as needed.
