About the Speakers

Christina Keller

Christina Keller

As a food allergy mom, former lawyer, and higher education professional (including in Admissions), Christina Keller counsels families during this period of transition from home to college by evaluating food allergy and special diet accommodations at the student’s list of possible colleges, aiding in the college visit process, and providing support to admitted students. The goal is to find safe and inclusive dining, which is foundational to fostering safety, community, and the best possible college experience!

Cameron Le

Cameron Le

Cameron is a student at Brown University studying Biology and Film Studies who has grown up with numerous food allergies. As a senior, he brings insight into the college experience and how to navigate the transition to college while managing food allergies. His allergies also inspired him to work on an ambulance as an EMT, where he treats a variety of emergency medical conditions, including anaphylaxis. He also researches in a lab dedicated to pediatric asthma and allergies, and his current project involves investigating the psychological foundations of food allergy management in adolescents and young adults. When he is not in school, Cameron lives in Washington and enjoys taking photos, boxing, and writing film reviews.

Tiffany Leon, MS, RD

Tiffany

As FARE’s Asst. Director of Training and Professional Programs, Tiffany supports the development of educational materials and training programs for key target audiences including registered dietitians or other healthcare professionals, commercial foodservice operators and of course, those with food allergies! Tiffany came to FARE from Georgetown University where she worked in dining services to help students with dietary restrictions navigate their dining options, served as a voice for the students during menu development, and provided food safety training to the campus dining staff. She has been a Registered Dietitian for 11 years, and earned degrees from James Madison University and Columbia University. She lives in Maryland with her family and dog, Maggie.

Preena Shroff

Preena Shroff

Preena is a third-year undergraduate student at Northwestern University majoring in Neuroscience. She is allergic to sesame, chickpeas, lentils, raw carrots/celery, and many nuts. Preena has been working with the Center for Food Allergy and Asthma Research at Feinberg School of Medicine to address safety measures and accommodations for young adults in university dining areas. She collaborates with dietitians and clinicians across the country to provide the right resources for students to manage their food allergies safely in a new environment.
