Feasting with FARE: Brownies

Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp egg replacer (bob’s red mill or ground flax)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup non-dairy milk
- 1 stick vegan butter, melted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup gluten free flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Optional:
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp chili powder
- 1 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 8x8 pan with non stick spray.
- Combine the egg replacer and water and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugars, milk, and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips
- Spread the batter in the pan.
- Bake for 25-35 until a toothpick comes out clean.
