About the Speakers
Sherry Coleman Collins

Sherry Coleman Collins is a registered dietitian nutritionist, licensed in Georgia and based in metro Atlanta. She is passionate about helping overcome the divide between nutrition fact and fiction and making the delicious bite the healthy bite. Her areas of practice include nutrition communications, food allergies, digestive wellness and culinary nutrition. Sherry has presented at dozens of professional and consumer conferences, has written scores of articles for print and online publications, is an expert voice in media, and serves as a consultant to the National Peanut Board. For the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), she developed the Certificate of Training in Food Allergies and authored the practice paper, The Role of the RDN in Food Allergy Diagnosis and Management. She is a member of AND's Dietitians in Business and Communications, Food and Culinary Professionals, and Research dietetic practice groups and the International Network for Diet and Nutrition in Allergy (INDANA). Sherry has received multiple professional awards and recognitions.
Malina Malkani

Malina Malkani, MS, RDN, CDN, is a registered dietitian nutritionist, author, single mom of three, and trusted nutrition expert in local and national media outlets and publications including The Doctors (CBS), U.S. News and World Report, Sirius XM Doctor Radio, Newsweek, Well + Good, Health, Reader's Digest, Insider, HuffPost, CNN, and Food Network. Her nutrition lifestyle company and private practice (MalinaMalkani.com, @healthy.mom.healthy.kids) is dedicated to helping parents end food drama, raise healthy and intuitive eaters, eat well themselves, and serve their families a mostly plant-based, nutrient-dense, whole-food diet (that they will actually eat). Malina is the author of Simple and Safe Baby-Led Weaning: How to Integrate Foods, Manage Portion Sizes and Identify Allergies and the creator of two online courses for parents, Safe & Simple Baby-Led Feeding, and Solve Picky Eating. A former national media spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, she completed her undergraduate degrees at Northwestern University and master's degree in clinical nutrition at New York University.
