Patrick Mahomes to Support ‘15 and FARE’ Initiative for My Cause My Cleats

KANSAS CITY, MO and McLEAN, VA – Nov. 29, 2024 — 15 and the Mahomies Foundation and FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) today announced that Patrick Mahomes is championing 15 and FARE, as the beneficiary of this year’s My Cause My Cleats. 15 and FARE is a partnership between both organizations that focuses on bringing the FARE Neighborhoods public health initiative and FARE’s Food Allergy Academy training to the Kansas City, Missouri area with the goal of connecting food allergy patients with resources and information to help them manage their disease. In tandem, the partnership will provide FARE’s Food Allergy Academy training to area restaurants, enabling safer dining experiences for those individuals and families living with food allergies. 

“I’m proud to use this year’s 'My Cause My Cleats' campaign to support 15 and the Mahomies and our latest initiative, '15 and FARE,'” said Patrick Mahomes. “This program is focused on bringing FARE Neighborhoods to Kansas City to ensure that all families have better access to the care and resources needed to manage food allergies. This issue is personal to me and my family, and I’m excited to be part of a partnership that’s working to create a safer and more supportive community for all.”

Through the My Cause My Cleats initiative, NFL players wear custom-designed cleats to demonstrate support of a particular cause. Patrick Mahomes' cleats will be auctioned through the NFL Foundation, with the proceeds benefiting 15 and the Mahomies Foundation to support the rollout of 15 and FARE.
