A Message from Lisa Gable: Update August 9, 2018
Dear Community:
We had meaningful conversations with the NPB this week to discuss the advertisement and the level of disappointment expressed both from FARE and the food allergy community. The NPB heard our concerns and are now more aware that food allergy reactions are unique to each person living with a food allergy. Food allergy reactions can be severe, potentially life-threatening and are never a joke.
NPB has issued a statement of apology that I share with you to show that when the food allergy community comes together, we can foster greater understanding of the challenges that food allergy families face each and every day.
