Food Allergy Research & Education Welcomes Leigh Feuerstein and Paola Luptak to Board of Directors
FARE is pleased to announce that Leigh Feuerstein and Paola Luptak have been elected to the FARE Board of Directors.
McLEAN, Va. (June 14, 2017) – Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), the nation’s leading nonprofit organization working on behalf of the 15 million Americans with food allergies, is pleased to announce that Leigh Feuerstein and Paola Luptak have been elected to the FARE Board of Directors.
Feuerstein is the father of a young son with food allergies and eosinophilic esophagitis. As an investor and the co-founder of Halen Brands, he has been instrumental in helping allergy-friendly food products become established on the market.
Luptak is the mother of a son with a peanut and tree nut allergy. She is a strong supporter of the University of Michigan and a benefactor of U-M’s Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center, creating the Nina and Jerry D. Luptak Research Professorship in the University of Michigan Medical School.
