Cookies-N-Milk, of McKinney, TX is recalling their 6oz cups of Cookies-N-Milk brand "Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough" because it may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The recalled product was distributed at retail stores in IA, KS, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI, WY.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. The recalled Cookies-N-Milk brand, Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough is packaged in a 6oz clear plastic cup. The lot number can be found on the top side of the container.
Recalled lots can be identified by the product lot code, which starts with lot # 3240 followed by a four-digit Military timestamp followed by C, for example: 3240 2300C.
Our firm’s investigation indicates the problem occurred at the packaging stage. Some containers may be filled with peanut butter edible cookie dough.
