Ingredient Notice (Sesame): Flowers Bakeries, LLC

Effective immediately, updated packaging for Flowers branded, private label, and foodservice products will reflect the following:

• All buns/rolls/hoagies/dinner rolls will include sesame as an ingredient under the “less than 2%” section on packaging.
• All loaf breads – except Dave’s Killer Bread – will include a voluntary allergen statement: “Manufactured on shared equipment that also processes products containing sesame. May contain sesame.”
• Dave’s Killer Bread breads, buns, and bagels will include sesame listed as an ingredient on packaging. DKB English muffins will include a voluntary allergen statement: “Manufactured on shared equipment that also processes products containing sesame. May contain sesame.”
• Canyon Bakehouse breads, buns, bagels, and English muffins will continue to be sesame free and will not carry an allergen statement.

Private label and foodservice products are sold under a variety of brand names at retail outlets and dining/institutional establishments nationwide.  Flowers recommends consumers read all product labels for the most accurate allergen information.
