WEBINAR: What Food Allergies Mean for Pharmacists
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. ET
Individuals and families managing food allergy know that knowledge is the key to keeping their families safe while shopping at the grocery store. But learning about how to stay safe at the drug store can be just as important, and pharmacists have a vital role to play. In this webinar, two pharmacists will walk us through food allergy basics and the role of the healthcare provider in keeping parents/caregivers up to date on the latest research. They will highlight hidden allergens in common drug store purchases such as medications and personal care items and will showcase the importance of open communication between the pharmacist and patient/consumer. This presentation is packed with information that you might not know and won’t want to miss!
This webinar is approved for 2.0 hours of live CE credits (0.2 CEU) for pharmacists through ACPE. In order to claim credits, please visit foodallergyacademy.org to complete the pre-test prior to 5:59PM EST on April 15, 2021.
