"Eat Early, Eat Often" Ambassador Toolkit

We need your help getting the word out! Use these resources to support talking on social media about the importance of early introduction of peanut-containing foods to prevent the development of peanut allergy.

Campaign Overview

We can stop a food allergy before it starts! Early introduction of infant-safe peanut foods reduces the chance of developing a peanut allergy by as much as 81%. The evidence is clear.

Guidelines now recommend all infants be introduced to infant-safe peanut-containing foods as soon as they are developmentally ready, starting as soon as 4 to 6 months of age. Increasingly, research is also suggesting that early introduction of other top allergen foods may decrease the likelihood of developing food allergy.

Campaign Goals

  • Educate: Raise awareness among parents, caregivers, and health professionals about the benefits of early allergen introduction.
  • Empower: Provide practical tips and resources for safely introducing infant-safe peanut foods and other top allergen foods.
  • Engage: Encourage discussions and sharing of personal stories and experiences using the campaign’s key messages on social media.
  • Advocate: Reinforce that early introduction, and subsequent frequent ingestion, can significantly reduce food allergy risks, supporting a proactive approach to infant nutrition.
