If you have been prescribed epinephrine, FARE recommends that you carry two epinephrine auto-injectors with you at all times to make sure you have quick access to this life-saving medication.

If you have been prescribed epinephrine, FARE recommends that you carry two epinephrine auto-injectors with you at all times to make sure you have quick access to this life-saving medication. There are now four epinephrine auto-injectors available, each with its own pricing structure and programs to make the medication more affordable. We know prescription costs can add up, so we encourage individuals and families who are managing food allergies to learn about opportunities for cost savings.

Be advised that the different auto-injectors on the market operate in different ways, so it is important to discuss your options with a healthcare professional and be properly trained to use the device prescribed to you or your family member. You can find tips for getting the auto-injector you want, links to important information about each product, and training videos on how to use the product on the epinephrine auto-injector page of foodallergy.org.

All of the epinephrine auto-injectors listed below have been approved by the FDA as safe and effective for the treatment of anaphylaxis. We’ve summarized the cost-savings programs offered by each manufacturer. For more information on any of these plans, please contact the company directly.
